Adleman, Leonard

In 1977, Ronald Rivest, Ali Shamir and Leonard Adleman (then MIT, now USC) invented the RSA (i.e. Rivest, Shamir, Adelman) algorithm. Leonard Adelman is also credited with being an inventor pf the first DNA computer--an idea pursued by Animesh Ray and Mitsunori Ogihara. A Leonard Adleman is a professor of Operations Research at George Mason University, the senior principal scientist of Cognitive Science Inc. and linked with the Center of Excellence in Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C3I Center).
